We have completed the  second market season of Salume Beddu, LLC at the local St. Louis Farmers' Markets and would like to say thank you to all of our supporters. Salume Beddu is proud to offer artisan salumi in a traditional Italian fashion (Salumi is the Italian term that encompasses all salted and cured pork products), fresh Italian Salsiccia (sausages) and seasonal Italian specialty items.

Salume Beddu is a family owned company, where Mark Sanfilippo merges his kitchen experiences with his family heritage to create unique products that use local family farms that also focus on the highest quality.  The Salume Beddu family has expanded! Ben Poremba has joined Salume Beddu as a partner. Ben brings a wealth of skill, knowledge and passion to the Salume Beddu family. After working in Parma, Italy, New York and assisting to open several of the top St. Louis attractions, he has joined forces with Mark Sanfilippo to continue the mission of bringing artisan salume to the region, while using local farms and products.

After working in Los Angeles and meeting with other Salumeria owners around the country, we are eager to offer similar products that have swept cities such as San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle and New York.

We pride ourselves on using local, fresh ingredients in all of our products. Each salume is artisanly spiced, hand tied and perfectly cured to produce traditional style salumi with a New-World twist. The Italian Salsiccia is perfectly spiced to accompany many family dinners and the specialty items are wonderful additions to your upcoming dinner party.

Salume Beddu is currently selling at local farmers markets and  many of our local gourmet grocers, wine shops and wonderful restaurants. We are thrilled to provide our St. Louis community with artisan salumi, fresh Italian salsiccia and seasonal Italian specialty items.

Local Harvest Cafe is now accepting reservations for the final "Big Night" series on FEB 15.  we haven't finalized the menu yet, but there's serious talk about a pig roast :-)
